Role Objective:
- Ensure SCJ possesses the right New Product Development (NPD) to win in assigned competitive categories and channels.
- Lead end-to-end brand marketing for Taiwan (TW) and Hong Kong (HK).
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Innovation & NPD (*including special pack) (50%)
- TW/HK End-to-End Brand Marketing (50%)
• Lead NPD development independently, covering consumer research, market analysis, product concept, packaging design, claims, pricing, business case formulation, product development, and key asset creation.
• Develop the optimal portfolio and NPD strategy for TW/HK to drive continuous market share growth for SCJ.
• Spearhead NPD projects from end to end, collaborating with on-site trade marketing teams.
• Co-lead marketing communications and field execution to ensure all targets are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing Innovation Consumer Insights: Serve as the Voice of the Consumer; collaborate with internal research teams to gather, analyze, and define actionable consumer insights for assigned categories.
- Business Data Analysis: Own end-to-end business data analysis, including market share, category/competitor landscape, and internal sales reports. Diagnose market trends and identify key growth opportunities for SCJ.
- Product Concept & Design: Independently develop winning product concepts, claims, and packaging/format design (*with agency)
- Pricing Strategy: Conduct comprehensive price analysis and formulate strategic pricing proposals to ensure NPD competitiveness within target segments.
- Business Case Development: Partner with senior management to build robust business cases; align with Trade Marketing and Sales teams to validate assumptions and secure sell-in.
- Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams (Plant, RD&E, Legal, Project Management) to deliver NPD projects on time and to specification.
- Assets Development: Manage external agencies to create high-impact marketing assets, including Key Visuals (KV), video content, online product pages, and offline Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM).
Job Requirements:
- Permanent full-time role.
- Fluent in conversational and written English
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, high sense of urgency and keen attention to details
- Play as a business owner, proactively finding opportunities for the brand.
- Active communicator and team worker, to work across functions and levels
- Understand ACNielsen syndicated data, MINE, and adopt processes
- Strong interest in domestic/regional commercial careers
