About the Team & Office
Based in our Sydney office, you’ll join the LiSTNR Digital & Community team, working closely with the LiSTNR Community Engagement Manager. This team sits at the heart of our podcast and digital ecosystem - bringing shows, talent and audiences together through compelling, social‑first storytelling.
From breakout podcasts to tent‑pole shows, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of brands, collaborating with producers, hosts and marketers to grow highly engaged and monetisable Australian audiences.
A day in the life?
As a Social Media Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and leading a team of Social Media Content Producers to engage with both existing and new audiences, to grow audiences, increase listener interaction and cultivate a loyal community, in line with our Social Content Strategy.
This role involves creating and managing community-focused initiatives, overseeing social media and forum interactions, managing a team of social media producers and collaborating with podcast hosts, radio production and management teams and content creators.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow, engage and monetise podcast and social media communities across LiSTNR and Triple M.
- Partner with Heads of, Content Directors, producers and talent to guide strategy, solve problems and align social content with broader content objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of social media producers, ensuring high‑quality content delivery, effective community management and timely audience engagement.
- Oversee social media operations, workflows and tools to improve efficiency, collaboration and output across shows, podcasts and teams.
- Track, analyse and report on community engagement, growth, KPIs and monetisation metrics, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations.
- Maintain expert knowledge of social platforms, algorithms and best‑practice strategies, sharing learnings and feedback across the business.
What You’ll Need
- Demonstrated expertise in social media, audience growth and distribution strategies across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and emerging channels.
- Strong experience in short‑form social video production and overseeing end‑to‑end content workflows to ensure quality and consistency.
- Proven leadership in managing and prioritising workloads for social media teams to maximise output, engagement and impact.
- Highly capable in analysing, reporting and sharing growth, engagement and performance insights to guide strategy and decision‑making.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, community management and brand integration, with a strong understanding of platform policies, compliance and best‑practice engagement principles.
