JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary: This Regional Role is responsible for executing the strategy that has been determined by Head of Global DMO Partnerships. Which entails developing and maintaining scalable commercial relationships with tourism board stake holders generating revenue for the marketing department and the company. This is a sales/business development role, which must consistently strive to achieve and surpass annual revenue targets all while working hand in hand with the Senior Regional Destination Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders in a cross-function environment. The Regional Destination Marketing Manager (RDMM) will serve a liaison between Head of Global DMO Partnerships the global sourcing community and all tourism boards.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently position Hotelbeds as the leader in the area of B2B digital destination marketing globally by interacting with as many tourism board stakeholders as possible on a Regional level, networking via trade shows and leveraging the existing relationships held by colleagues across the company leading to brand recognition, reputation and incremental revenue growth for client in their respective region.
- Implement the regional strategies.
- Execute and manage successful sales pipeline to ensure that no opportunities are missed, and revenue is being maximized in respective region and targets.
- Attentively follow the legal parameters and compliance regulations and standards of Hotelbeds.
- Work hand in hand with department colleagues to implement workflow and constantly promoting the department to regional clients.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of the travel distribution landscape
- Experience in tourism/hospitality and in B2B sales, with a proven track record of organic revenue growth
- Demonstrated success in business development, new client acquisition, and stakeholder management
- Proven ability to sell, including pricing proposals, contract negotiation, and closing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Highly self‑motivated, ambitious, resilient, and confident, with the ability to handle rejection
- Strong market research and strategic planning capabilities, with a clear understanding of target audience needs
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional team player with a “get it done” attitude; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Full professional proficiency in English
