Digital Communications Officer- CHeBA

* Employment Type: Part Time, 21 hours per week
* Duration: Fixed Term Up until 31 December 2026. An extension maybe possible
pending funding outcome.
* Remuneration: Professional Level 6 $108,021 pro rata + 17% Super + annual
leave loading
* Location: Kensington Campus, New South Wales.
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold
unrestricted work rights to be considered for this position.

Position Summary

The Digital Communications Officer supports CHeBA’s
[https://www.unsw.edu.au/cheba] digital communications strategy through the
development and delivery of engaging content across digital and print channels.
The role manages key communication platforms, translates research into
accessible content, and develops promotional materials to support stakeholder
engagement, fundraising and public outreach activities.

The Digital Communications Officer reports to the Team Lead – Innovation &
Communications and works closely with researchers, project teams, and UNSW
stakeholders to enhance the visibility and impact of CHeBA’s research and
activities.

Some key skills required: 

* Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in online communications,
designing, developing, reviewing and updating marketing and fundraising
content including websites, e-marketing and social media campaigns and
hard-copy collateral.
* Demonstrated proficiency using a range of web 2.0 technologies and visual and
graphic design tools, including AEM, InDesign and Photoshop and Sharepoint.
* Experience planning and executing integrated digital communication campaigns
across multiple platforms and audiences.
* Experience maintaining and applying brand guidelines across digital and print
communications.
* Experience managing EDM campaigns, audience segmentation, mailing lists and
campaign analytics using platforms such as GCast or MailChimp.
* Demonstrated experience analysing digital and social media performance data
to optimise engagement and communication outcomes.
* Experience working within enterprise CMS and DAM systems, including digital
asset management, metadata and publishing workflows.
* Experience supporting digital promotion and delivery of events, webinars and
public engagement initiatives.
