Job Description
Nine is looking for a highly motivated Client Success Executive to join our Publishing Subscriptions and Commercial Growth team!
Reporting to the Client Success Lead, this is a strategic commercial role focused on maximising lifetime client value and driving expansion revenue. You'll manage a significant, high-value corporate renewal portfolio, playing a vital role in meeting our subscription revenue targets, seamlessly blending strategic account growth with exceptional service delivery. This role is a direct shift from reactive support to a proactive commercial partnership function.
Day to day you will:
- Drive the entire renewal process for a high-value portfolio of Corporate Team licenses, ensuring contracts are renewed on-time and at target value.
 - Set-up and onboarding of corporate subscriptions clients across digital and print.
 - Proactively identify, qualify, and close new upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base, positioning new features or products to align with evolving client needs.
 - Provide high level client service and post sale support to Corporate Subscription clients across the AFR and Metro Publications.
 - Monitor client health and usage data to proactively address potential churn risks and act as the primary point of escalation for complex commercial or operational issues.
 - Troubleshoot technical and access issues for digital subscriptions to deliver a seamless client experience.
 - Maintain accurate and reliable renewal and upsell forecasts in the CRM (Salesforce) and manage data integrity for your portfolio.
 - Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to align client strategy and deliver a high-quality post-acquisition experience.
 
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience in Client/Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales focused on retention and revenue expansion.
 - Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding renewal and upsell revenue targets.
 - Proven ability to manage a large, high-value renewal portfolio and maintain pipeline accuracy.
 - Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and experience maintaining an accurate sales pipeline/forecast.
 - Digital and print media awareness and experience (preferred).
