Associate/Senior Associate _ Futures Content _ Institutional Equity Division

The Futures Content team is responsible for creating differentiated and value-added content and analyses around cross-asset futures markets, and engaging with institutional clients to drive Listed Derivatives revenues. We develop frameworks, rooted in a fundamental understanding of futures markets, to identify trading opportunities based on positioning, liquidity, and costs. Work on quantitative analytics on large historical futures time-series datasets using Python, build custom functions and tools to streamline exploratory analysis. Streamline processes through Python to automate output generation, validation and updates of our futures models. Handle ad-hoc requests from stakeholders, delivering timely, data-driven insights and live context on futures market movements. Pulling various stats on several market metrics like returns, liquidity, open interest changes, volumes, margins, etc. Scheduling and running Jupyter notebooks, VBA macros that pull in the latest data inputs, refresh calculations, apply the methodology and generates positioning & liquidity reports. Troubleshoot errors on Python/ VBA macros that may occur while working on different frameworks. Working knowledge of Bloomberg. 2-4 years of relevant working experience on Python, VBA and Excel Engineering Degree Mandatory knowledge of programming languages such as Python and VBA to work with financial data Understanding of Futures market Strong inter-personal / communication skills. Strong attention to detail Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment. Note this is NY shift (1730-0230 IST) in a hybrid work setup.
