Business Function

Group Marketing & Communications (GM&C) is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.

Principal Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with overall private banking business objectives and brand positioning in order to build brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive client acquisition. Oversee all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing etc. Lead the creation and curation of high-quality, relevant, and engaging digital content tailored for a sophisticated private banking audience. Identify new digital channels and opportunities to reach and engage target audiences effectively. Manage and optimize content across various digital marketing channels and social media platforms.

Performance Marketing

Utilize data-driven insights to manage budgets, target audiences, conversion and continuously refine amplification strategies across paid digital channels. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize amplification performance, improve conversion, and achieve business goals. Work closely with business segments to ensure business impact.

Award Pitching & Brand Recognition

Identify and evaluate relevant industry awards and recognition opportunities for DBS Private Bank. Lead the end-to-end award submission process, including crafting compelling narratives, collating supporting documentation, and collaborating with regional and internal stakeholders. Amplify DBS's achievements and thought leadership to enhance brand reputation and further position DBS Private Bank as a leading private bank globally.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in the financial services industry, preferably private banking or wealth management.
  • Experience with award pitching and securing industry recognition is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successful planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results (e.g., lead generation, client acquisition, engagement).
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in execution.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin (both written and spoken) is highly preferred given the regional focus.
