The Digital Cards Product AVP is responsible for the functional ownership and continuous optimisation of the digital lifecycle across the Bank’s credit and debit card portfolio. This individual contributor role focuses on ensuring a seamless transition from card acquisition to daily digital usage by managing business requirements across key digital touchpoints. Working in close partnership with Digital Banking and Technology teams, the role ensures that digital card capabilities are commercially sound, customer‑centric and aligned with overall cards strategy.
How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences. You'll work closely with our sales teams to identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products, and develop targeted sales campaigns to drive revenue growth. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our products remain competitive.
What you do
- Drive improvements to digital card acquisition, activation and in‑app usage experiences in partnership with Digital Banking and Technology teams.
- Manage the end‑to‑end process for provisioning cards into digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) to enable immediate customer usage.
- Drive the commercialisation of digital payment capabilities, including Scan‑and‑Pay, through use‑case definition, customer adoption initiatives and performance tracking.
- Support the cards replatforming programme for the issuing stream, representing Cards business requirements and ensuring delivered capabilities meet intended business and customer outcomes.
- Act as the key business liaison with Digital Banking, Technology and internal stakeholders to enable effective delivery.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related discipline. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cards, payments or digital banking product roles, preferably within a financial institution Strong understanding of credit and debit card products, digital wallets and card‑based payment usage. Proven ability to define business requirements and drive outcomes through cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment. Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills. Sound risk and control mindset, with awareness of regulatory and operational considerations.
