About the role

The Agency Account Manager is accountable for delivering the territory budget (individual) and market share objectives for the designated sales portfolio. Champions the Are Media sales narrative in market, providing deep customer and media brand knowledge matched with commercial acumen across both print and digital media as it relates to Are Media’s business objectives.

  • Leads and maintains strong working relationships with customers, their teams and their agencies, ensuring high quality briefs and revenue opportunities to achieve individual and Are Media’s ad sales revenue targets (total).
  • Focused on delivery of Are Media proposals that meet customer expectations and needs.
  • Ensures correct implementation and execution of customer campaigns.
  • Contributes to business planning, sales forecasting and Agency portfolio sales performance.

Skills and experience

  • 2 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Highly focused, results oriented and achieves targets and goals
  • Experience in achieving sales success. Media sales and digital experience essential.
  • Experience with key account management and project/campaign management
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
