Systems Support Analyst, Salesforce

Job Description

The Commercial Products team manages a fleet of custom-built and off the shelf systems that perform critical functions for our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance and Presentation teams, which make it possible for us to sell and traffic ads. In other words, our systems manage all revenue associated with broadcast today and progressively into digital.

Ideally you have worked with Salesforce over the last couple of years, have a focus on industry cloud solutions, and are comfortable working from implementation to adoption.

Role responsibilities

  • User Management: Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and accessibility.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Customisation: Customise Salesforce applications, including the creation of reports, dashboards, page layouts, and workflow automation.
  • Data Management: Perform data imports, exports, backups, and cleansing to maintain high-quality data standards.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, helping them to navigate the platform and utilise its features effectively.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and user procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and enhance the Salesforce platform to meet evolving business needs.
  • Updates & Releases: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features; assess their impact and implement necessary updates.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator in a similar environment with sales, service and industry cloud
  • Extensive experience in the build, customisation, administration and maintenance of salesforce systems
  • Familiarity with Salesforce features, capabilities, and best practices, including knowledge of the Lightning Experience interface.
  • Experience in performing salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain salesforce databases
  • Ability to provide salesforce training and end-user support, with an ability to relay technical information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in analyzing data and generating meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Industry experience with broadcast or streaming media beneficial but not required
  • Experience with Media cloud implementations
