Job Description

Join Nine as the Series Producer for Kids TV on a run-of-show contract until the end of 2025.You'll be at the heart of a dedicated Brisbane-based team crafting 150 engaging episodes each year for 9GO! and 9NOW, contributing to a diverse slate that includes lifestyle shows and major events. This is your chance to make a significant impact on young viewers across Australia.

Day to day you will:

  • Oversee all stages of kids' TV episode production, from concept to final delivery.
  • Manage pre and post-production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met effectively.
  • Develop and approve episode content and game formats, ensuring cohesive storytelling.
  • Ensure all programming strictly adheres to ACMA's C Classification guidelines and manage related applications.
  • Lead and collaborate with the production team and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Executive Producers on new content and format development.
  • Apply strong story structure knowledge, make quick decisions, and lead team development.
     

Qualifications

What you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and foster collaboration within a team.
  • Competence in managing projects and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Undergraduate degree in Creative Industries or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with children's content or directly with children.
  • History of successful collaboration with external stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in Premier Pro.
