The purpose of the Senior Research Analyst is integral to leverage sales revenue across the country. The role is also about informing SCA staff about new research and insights about consumers and categories. The Senior Research and Insights Analyst works across the implementation of complex research projects and works closely with senior stakeholders. This role is a 14 month contract position.
What does your day to day look like?
- Write and present research in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner while maintaining high communication and presentation standards.
- Respond to research requests promptly and analyze radio, TV, and industry data to interpret audience behaviors.
- Conduct end-to-end brand lift, creative testing, and brand tracking studies for clients and the business.
- Develop and deploy surveys using Sparq platform, applying quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Provide actionable insights for clients, mentor 1-2 Research & Insight Analysts, and collaborate on projects with internal and external teams.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Media, Agency or Market Research position
- Degree in Media/Communications/Marketing or similar qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of research software (Nielsen, Roy Morgan)
- Advanced knowledge of survey software (Sparq)
- Highly advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Advance knowledge of research methodologies including radio, TV, online and telephone (CATI)
- Advanced knowledge of the media and market research landscape both nationally and internationally
