Senior PR& Communications Manager
About the role
We are growing our communications and brand capability to support an exciting next phase of growth. We are looking for a Senior PR & Communications Manager to lead content strategy, drive high-impact campaigns and product communications, and act as a senior right-hand to the Head of PR & Communications. This is a rare chance to help shape a brand and own major communications initiatives end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
What you will do
- Own content strategy — build and run the messaging architecture, narrative and content engine across all owned channels.
- Develop and own the core narrative, key messages and messaging architecture, ensuring they are tied to the brand and to business objectives.
- Define and uphold the tone of voice and editorial standards, and build and run an integrated content calendar across web, social, email, blog and executive channels.
- Create and oversee a wide range of content — press releases, bylines, blogs, presentations, briefing documents, infographics, scripts and social posts.
- Apply audience insight and SEO thinking to shape content, and track content performance to continually refine the approach.
- Lead key campaigns — drive comms and content workstreams end-to-end and partner across teams on integrated initiatives.
- Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns from brief and strategy through execution and measurement.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams with marketing, product and growth, keeping milestones, owners and deadlines on track.
- Plan and coordinate launches, announcements and media moments to generate coverage, engagement and share of voice.
- Set clear campaign objectives and KPIs, report on results, and turn learnings into the next cycle.
- Be a senior deputy — act as a trusted second to the Head and keep delivery on track across the team.
- Represent the function in meetings and with stakeholders when the Head is unavailable, and act as a calm first point of escalation.
- Own delivery of cross-team plans and coordinate regional execution so initiatives land consistently across markets.
- Manage agencies, freelancers and vendors, and support budget oversight and prioritisation.
- Maintain message discipline and quality control across everything the team puts out.
- Raise the bar — model strategic planning and lift the wider team's capability.
- Turn objectives into clear, measurable communications plans, and model that planning discipline for the team.
- Partner with and mentor the regional managers to move their work from execution towards strategy.
- Establish shared playbooks, templates and ways of working to improve quality, speed and consistency.
- Bring an analytical mindset — use data and insight to inform decisions and demonstrate impact to leadership.
- Build the brand — strengthen reputation, visibility and a consistent brand voice across the business.
- Develop thought-leadership and executive-visibility programmes, including bylines, speaking opportunities, profiles and awards.
- Safeguard a consistent brand voice and verbal identity across all channels and business areas.
- Build and nurture relationships with media, partners and industry communities to grow reach and credibility.
- Help protect and enhance reputation, supporting issues management and crisis communications when needed.
What you will bring
- 8+ years in PR, communications, content or brand — ideally spanning agency and in-house.
- A proven content strategist and strong writer who can set narrative and turn it into a working content engine.
- Track record of leading or anchoring major campaigns or integrated communications programmes.
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor and trusted deputy — high ownership, low ego, strong judgement.
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with teams across the organisation.
- Regional or global experience across APAC; fluent English, with Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.
