Job Description

Ready to bring the magic of Nine's entertainment from our screens to everywhere?
As the Entertainment lead for our Video Content team,, you’ll work closely with the Head of Video Content, programmers and production companies to turbocharge our multi-platform distribution strategy. Your mission? To craft and blast out awesome multimedia content that gets Nine's hottest shows seen far and wide!

You’ll need to know YouTube back to front - from creating, to optimising and distributing entertainment content that connects with a large audience. And keeps them coming back!

You’ll need to have demonstrated experience working with large content production companies. We are looking for someone who knows how big entertainment shows work pre, during and post production. Someone who knows how to deal with key stakeholders, talent and crew. 

If you're a detail-obsessed content creator with a knack for killer copy, a wizard with the  Adobe creative suite , and a pro at making social platforms sing, we want you! Show us how you can connect with audiences across all digital channels, and let's make some noise together!

Day to day you will:

  • Manage the distribution of video content across all relevant digital platforms
  • Create, produce and manage original short, mid and long form projects and shows
  • Executing tone of voice, frequency of communication and moderation
  • Working with broader teams in the creation and publication of relevant, original, shareable and high-quality content
  • Drive innovation new media storytelling to bring content to new audiences
  • Develop and proactively share insights/reports
  • Deputise for the Head of Video Content where required

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience leading teams in entertainment content production
  • Deep understanding of YouTube strategy 
  • A genuine interest in entertainment
  • Strong grasp of social media and content distribution, especially for major brands
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative suite 
  • Analytical storytelling skills, ability to assess content and adapt narratives for new audiences
  • Experience in digital or entertainment news is preferred
