About the role

The Senior Marketing Coordinator supports the delivery of strategic marketing activities that promote NSW destinations, experiences and major events. Working as part of the Event Marketing team, you will coordinate marketing programs and integrated campaigns across multiple channels, manage production workflows, support the delivery of creative assets and content, and ensure campaigns align with brand requirements and organisational priorities. You will also support the delivery of event marketing programs by coordinating marketing activities, managing approvals and working with event partners to maximise the impact of marketing initiatives.
You will work closely with internal teams, event partners, government and industry stakeholders, and creative and media agencies to coordinate marketing projects and campaign delivery and meet contractual obligations. The role involves managing approvals, evaluating campaign performance and preparing insights to support continuous improvement. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication, smooth delivery and successful marketing outcomes that support the growth of the NSW visitor economy.

About You

You bring relevant experience in event marketing, sponsorship, tourism or a related environment, with the ability to coordinate campaigns, promotional activity and marketing activations, and work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will bring experience working with media and creative agencies, briefing marketing assets, coordinating paid media activity across a range of channels and monitoring performance to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
You are organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality outcomes. You build strong working relationships with internal teams, event partners, suppliers and agencies, and are confident coordinating approvals, resolving issues and keeping projects moving. You have strong communication skills and can work collaboratively to deliver marketing activities, manage timelines and ensure campaign outputs meet objectives and quality standards.
