Senior Designer/ Designer, Digital Marketing
Responsibilities:
Design & Production
Conceptualize and design high-impact marketing assets, including static/rich media Digital Banners (Square, Horizontal, Vertical formats), animated GIFs, short-form videos, and head banners.
Apply human-centric design to create wireframes, flowcharts, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, documentation decks, and other digital formats — validating concepts with stakeholders and internal customers.
Efficiently localize, resize, and adapt master creatives across various digital formats, aspect ratios, and platforms without losing design integrity.
Run iterations and adjustments based on ongoing feedback & analytics.
Stay informed about the latest industry design trends and incorporate these insights into daily design activities.
AI-Driven Workflow Integration
Actively research, adopt, and master Generative AI design tools (e.g., Nano Banana, Google Flow, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Claude, etc.) to accelerate ideation and optimize creative workflows and scale asset production.
Write clear, effective prompts and iterate on them to reach usable results.
Critically review AI-generated output and refine it to meet our quality bar and follow strict corporate guidelines — you are the human in the loop, not pass-through.
Design System Maintenance
Adhere to existing style guides and contribute to our expanding template libraries and design systems to ensure consistency across projects and campaigns.
Collaboration
Work closely with marketing teams to bring designs to life.
Act as a liaison between external design vendors and in-house marketing teams, providing valuable insights and constructive feedback on design elements.
Ensure seamless and effective communication to uphold high-quality standards and align design outputs with business objectives.
Handle ad-hoc tasks if required.
Qualifications:
Essential Competencies
A stellar portfolio of digital work. (Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.)
Degree or diploma in visual design, interactive design, creative media, or a relevant discipline.
Preferred 2-3 years of proven experiences as designer or similar role to visual design & video creation.
Hands-on experience (or strong demonstrated aptitude) with AI design tools — including prompt-writing and the judgment to evaluate AI output and elevate it to brand standard.
Proficiency with industry tools: Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), plus collaboration/handoff tools such as Sketch, MS Office.
Motion and video production for GIFs and short-form video (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
Conversant in written and spoken Chinese and English, and a good communicator. Putonghua is a plus.
An exceptional eye for layout structures, visual hierarchy, clean typography, and the effective use of whitespace.
Detail minded, strong observation, and genuine brand sensibility.
Desirable Skills
HTML5 banner production.
Familiarity with cross-browser, native, and cross-platform mobile design best practices.
Comfort with Agile / iterative project-management methodologies.
Communication & Collaboration
A self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment.
Patient, proactive, with a strong sense of personal accountability.
Open, detail-minded, with good problem-solving skills; able to work independently and under pressure.
