Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As a Senior Content Writer, you’ll play a key role in designing content and personalised experiences across our public facing website. You'll produce clear, customer-centric, accessible content that's on brand and meets our regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with marketing managers, product owners and subject matter experts to create content that makes it easy for our customers to find the information they need about our products and services. You’ll help optimise and simplify customer journeys to create a world-class customer experience. You’ll receive ongoing support from the Content Design team and meet regularly to share insights and learnings and shape the way we create and use digital content.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in content design, UX writing, and/or digital communications.
  • Experience leading complex content design initiatives.
  • Confident user of content management systems and web analytics tools like Google or Adobe Analytics.
  • Able to partner with stakeholders across a complex organisation to produce customer-centred content that drives outcomes.
  • Proven track record of overseeing content initiatives and advocating for customer-centred content.
  • Adept with customer research, information architecture, metadata, and content governance.
  • Able to apply content strategies and content plans to identify content needs.
  • Proficient with journey and experience mapping, storyboards, and personas.
  • Confident using a range of design and research tools, and open to adapting to new trends and technologies.
  • Experience working in an agile environment in cross-functional teams with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
