MiQ is looking for a Sales Executive in the Victorian market to join the Australian Sales Team.  In this role, the Sales Executive will help achieve key sales goals within a specified territory for the company.  We are looking for someone with strong relationships in agencies within holding companies as well as independent agencies and direct clients.  The ideal candidate is highly driven, self-motivated, and has strong interpersonal skills. To help manage and grow your portfolio, you will work closely with your team of account service representatives and programmatic traders.

 

As a Sales Executive you’ll have the chance to: 

 

  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers within your assigned agencies
  • Close and retain campaigns from your portfolio of agencies
  • Maximise the use of marketing, PR events, and entertainment to increase awareness of MiQ with your clients
  • Act as an industry evangelist for automated data-driven audience acquisition and analytics
  • Work closely with the MiQ team to ensure clients expectations are exceeded

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven track record of success in digital ad sales
  • A large range of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier agencies and advertisers
  • High degree self-motivation and drive, sufficient to act as independent business owner
  • Eagerness to work in a startup team environment that is rapidly changing
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • 2-5+ years of experience in advertising sales
  • Direct agency experience as customer, partner or employee
  • Experience creating and managing new business units
  • Tertiary education in advertising, marketing or business (preferred)
  • Alignment with MiQ's core values
  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm
