Job Description
Ready to deliver the next big story? We're looking for a dynamic television journalist to join our team on a max fixed-term contract.
You'll be responsible for creating compelling news reports for multiple multimedia platforms. This role requires excellent on-air delivery, presentation, and the ability to work across different skills and formats. Multiskilling is a critical element of this role.

Day to day you will:
- Develop contacts, research, and create compelling news stories for both broadcast and digital platforms.
- Deliver live reports and conduct interviews from various events and locations.
- Write, edit, and present news stories with accuracy, clarity, and insightful commentary.
- Maintain positive and professional communication while contributing to a supportive and inclusive newsroom culture.
- Embrace multiplatform journalism by ensuring content is seamlessly integrated across digital, social, and traditional media.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience working as a journalist in a fast-paced newsroom.
- A polished on-camera presence with the ability to deliver dynamic and compelling stories, including live reports.
- Strong research, interview, and communication skills, along with a talent for recalling scripts and key facts.
- The ability to remain calm and focused while working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- A comprehensive understanding of journalistic ethics, legal requirements, and industry standards.
