Job Title: Regional Marketing & Business Development Manager – Industrial

Summary: This role is responsible for driving growth of the Industrial Silicone Elastomers business across the APAC region by combining strategic marketing, business development, and KEY selective account/OEM management. The individual will assess market needs and trends to identify opportunities, establish and execute marketing strategies, and support the commercialization of new technologies (NPIs). A key focus will be on the Infrastructure sector while expanding into adjacent markets where silicone materials bring strong value propositions.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role Education & Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Materials Science, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred. Strong understanding of elastomers, polymer chemistry, or advanced materials and their applications in industrial or electric power markets. Familiarity with market analysis, commercial strategy, and product lifecycle management.

Experience

5–10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or technical sales in energy/electric power Deep understanding of China’s Power market, Policies, grid structure and industry landscape Solid professional knowledge and network in power, energy industry Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, new product launches, and market expansion. Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with R&D, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales. Track record of customer engagement, account management, or hybrid commercial roles with technical products.

Skills & Competencies

Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for customer and internal stakeholder interactions. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and translate technical solutions into business value. Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects across global and regional teams. Willingness and ability to travel regionally or globally as required. Experience with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and driving adoption in complex, technical markets. Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and customer requirements in Energy, or Industrial segments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field). Proven track record in hybrid roles combining marketing, business development, and sales responsibilities. (+3 YRS)
