About the role:

We’re on the hunt for a Radio Sales Executive to join our ACE Sales team based in Melbourne. The purpose of this role is to support and bolster the sales of the ACE metro product and SCA’s regional radio portfolio through collaboration with the extended metro sales teams and as directed by the national sales manager. This role will ensure seamless coordination, implementation, and delivery of sales support in a timely and accurate manner.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Pro-actively maximise revenue opportunities through collaboration with sales teams nationally to drive both internal and external knowledge of ACE Metro opportunities
  • Communicate opportunities for upselling or cross-selling with the sales team
  • Work with and support sales teams in each market to identify tailored market/category insights that drive new business conversion and grow the national client base
  • Work with Head of Radio Sales Sydney to maximise revenue opportunities through understanding and effectively using SCA stations and resources to help grow client’s businesses, including sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
  • Generate, coordinate and manage all ACE Metro collateral
  • Work with ACE Metro & national teams to constantly enhance and improve processes, systems and procedures to streamline sales process for sales teams
  • Work with SCA’s research and insights team to collate relevant case studies and collateral to drive ACE Metro revenue
  • Work with ACE Metro content and sponsorships teams to establish new opportunities to take to market for presentation to national teams
  • Collaborate with manager on large briefs and annual negotiations where required
  • Utilise SCA’s planning and analysis tools to provide robust data and opportunities for growth nationally and work with sales management teams in each market to assist implement these plans and opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients

Experience we’re looking for:

  • 2 – 3 years’ customer focused background essential
  • Experience in media or advertising desired
  • Local and interstate market knowledge desired
