Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Brand Marketing Executive’)
The Communications and Public Relations Office is looking for a dynamic brand and marketing communications specialist to ensure the University’s external positioning reflects its strategic goals.
The appointee will be responsible for:
- co-ordinating and strengthening the implementation of the University’s brand and visual identity in accordance with the brand guidelines;
- serving as a brand advocate to communicate with various internal units for building the University’s brand and generating positive publicity;
- maintaining the web-based marketing portal and managing brand templates, protocols and guidelines;
- monitoring compliance and building a culture of best practice to ensure the appropriate use of the University’s brand and visual identity internally and externally;
- planning and executing branding campaigns with internal teams and external agencies;
- co-ordinating with designers and producers to produce interactive and captivating content that drives high-quality traffic;
- creating engaging and image-building content for print, digital and social media;
- making recommendations on the development of a merchandise strategy to build a portfolio of branded products that generates revenue and enhances brand loyalty among staff, students, alumni, and visitors to the CUHK community;
- performing other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Media Production or related disciplines;
- at least 5 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, branding or communications;
- demonstrated success in brand management or integrated marketing communications projects;
- familiarity with major social media platforms locally, regionally and globally;
- excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- a creative, proactive, and positive work attitude, with good team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility;
- a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work under tight deadlines;
- good organisational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Having an agency or corporate brand marketing background, in-depth knowledge of brand management, and a proven track record of achievement will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both Chinese and English.
Applicants should submit at least 3 samples of previous work on branding/ digital marketing/ social media campaigns, multimedia production or video production in the online application.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
