Ready to make Perth's news shine?
Day to day you will:
- Fuel Audience Engagement & support the creation of compelling, viewer focused content.
- Develop, research, script, and edit impactful stories.
- Spot the Buzz, Identify resonant stories and angles that grab viewers.
- Guarantee content is factually correct and adheres to legal requirements.
- Problem-solve on-air issues and manage bulletin line up (Mosart/ENPS).
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant degree in journalism or hands-on control room experience.
- Possess a strong understanding of news and current affairs.
- Experience in TV, radio, or other news media environments.
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
- Have a solid grasp of media law and familiarity with broadcast systems like ENPS.
