Job Description:
Department Overview CMO Office is responsible for Rakuten’ s marketing strategy making and capability building in marketing area for further growth of Rakuten group. Our mission includes not only implementing new technology and method but also solving an influential business issue by executing a marketing plan.

As an expectation of this position, you will take the initiative to find issues, make strategy and executing tactics collaborating with brand or creative organization under CMO. It's a very challenging field that will fit those who want to pursue management career with marketing skills and experience as strength, or those who want to make a big impact on society utilizing assets in Rakuten.
Position Details
- Making group-wide marketing strategy
- Initiating and leading group-wide strategic marketing project
- Making a system for enhancing marketing capability of Rakuten group
- Developing and implementing new marketing technology and method
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Working experience as a consultant for more than 2 years at a consulting firm
- Ability to deeply understand business models (including basic finance, business concepts, etc.)
- Management communication including CEO, CMO, and other management layers
- Japanese language skill (Fluent)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience at strategic consulting firm or business planning department
- Project management experience with 5+ members involved
- Experience in every kind of KPI management
- Leadership that envision and evolves the future of society, companies, and organizations
- Ability to find challenges and opportunities themselves
- Communication ability to cherish collaboration and teamwork with members with diverse talents
- Experience of "GTD" with consensus building and promotion with diverse stakeholders
- Interest about new things and innovation, especially related to the Internet
Languages: English (Overall - 2 - Intermediate), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
