Job Description
We are looking for a curious and passionate Marketing professional to join our Consumer Marketing team!
You will help shape the way millions of Aussies engage with News, Sport, and Entertainment across Channel 9 and 9Now, by gaining hands-on experience working on campaigns that reach massive audiences. You will also learn from some of the best in the industry, and be part of a team that thrives on bold ideas and big impact.
Day to day you will:
- Execute marketing campaigns and promotions that deliver audience growth and retention for 9News
- Manage the efficient briefing and trafficking of creative for multichannel media plans
- Compile data for daily and post campaign analysis that measures success metrics
- Collaborate with the News Strategy and Social team to help ideate campaign creative and content that is fit for purpose across channels and target audiences.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external media agencies and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of all campaigns
- Work closely with the News Editorial team as well as Content Operations, Local Marketing, Programming, Creative and Publicity teams to deliver integrated and innovative campaigns.
- Support the consumer marketing team across other campaigns and projects as required - including Entertainment and Sport programming.
Qualifications
What we would like to see:
- Experience working in a marketing role or relevant experience in an agency role
- A passion for news, entertainment, sport, television and streaming content
- Hands-on experience with digital ad platforms including social and search campaigns
- Proven ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A pro-active, solution-oriented mindset with high levels of accountability and responsibility
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline is ideal but not essential
- Experience using Customer Engagement Platforms or Marketing Communications Platforms is ideal but not essential
