Marketing & Events Senior Advisor, Hong Kong
Purpose
Your role will be to lead the execution of local marketing initiatives, including events, that align with Firm and client and sector strategies, as well as global/regional marketing priorities.
You will play a key role in adapting and activating global and regional marketing activities for local impact, ensuring relevance and impact while collaborating with marketing colleagues in other countries to share best practice and improve efficiency.
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact, high-quality local marketing activities across various channels to engage target audiences, strengthen brand awareness, and support the client and sector strategy.
- Localise global and regional marketing initiatives, ensuring targeting, content, and execution resonate with the local market while maintaining strategic alignment.
- Plan, organise, and execute local events to the highest standards, enhancing client engagement and positioning the Firm as a market leader.
- Manage local sponsorships and partnerships, strengthening existing relationships and identifying new opportunities that align with the Firm's brand and strategy.
- Analyse local market trends and client insights, using data to shape messaging, refine targeting, and optimise marketing effectiveness.
- Adapt and help to manage local social media and digital content, ensuring alignment with local trends while upholding the Firm's brand identity and global standards.
- Develop insightful reports and presentations, tracking key marketing performance metrics and identifying drivers of success.
- Monitor and engage in digital conversations relevant to the Firm's brand, providing insights and recommendations to enhance reputation and engagement.
- Identify and integrate emerging marketing trends, ensuring the local strategy remains innovative and competitive.
- Work seamlessly with stakeholders across the Firm and across Business Teams to ensure the smooth execution of marketing activities and sharing of best practice.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to access tools, templates, and expertise.
Your experience
- Proven experience in marketing and events management, ideally in a professional services or corporate environment.
- Strong track record of executing marketing activities that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality events, from conception to execution, with a focus on client engagement.
- Experience managing sponsorships and partnerships, including evaluating opportunities and building strategic relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and measure effectiveness.
- Hands-on experience managing social media and digital content, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand identity.
- Proficiency in developing reports and presentations, with the ability to track key performance metrics and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience in monitoring brand conversations and making recommendations for reputation management.
- Knowledge of emerging marketing trends and ability to apply innovative approaches.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with regional/global teams.
