Marketing & Event Coordinator
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing & Event Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving OMA’s thought leadership and elevation of the out of home industry and membership engagement strategy, with a particular focus on planning and executing high-impact events. The ideal candidate will be building a career in both digital and event marketing and already have an early track record of delivering and participating in successful campaigns that drive education, connection and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated marketing & event strategy, planning and execution
- Drive and co-ordinate with leadership and team, development and execution of a comprehensive events strategy, including tradeshows, webinars and virtual events, conferences and awards.
- Identify and evaluate new event opportunities to increase brand awareness.
- Establish and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Responsible for coordination of internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless and successful event delivery.
- Create and leverage social media, email and content marketing to promote events and drive attendance, including invitations, promotional materials, and follow-up campaigns.
- Manage budget as it relates to events.
- Brand and content management
- MOVE – execute MOVE2 launch and post launch marketing strategy and education requirements and key messages.
- Education
- Advocacy – support Government relations initiatives with campaigns, events, messaging and content
- BAU – oversee and coordinate all content and materials released across the organisation, continue to drive elevation of OMA and MOVE websites and social channels, oversee production of annual report.
- CRM – ownership of CRM data integrity, efficiency and utilisation of marketing automation tools like Hubspot.
Experience, qualifications and character:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, and/or communications or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in at least two organisational environments
- Proven experience in a marketing role with a strong focus on event management
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and event-based tactics.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and marketing automation tools. Experience with Hubspot viewed favourably.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful events, both physical and virtual.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proactive, with a can-do attitude and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Desire to lead and support upcoming talent and the patience and delight in others growth and success
This role may require event related travel from time to time. We enjoy working together in our office and remote working is not an option
