Job Description

Are you a strategic communicator passionate about driving audience growth? Join our Publishing team as a Marketing Communications Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end subscriber communications for Australia's most trusted media brands. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to impactful campaigns and fostering strong internal relationships.

 

Day to day you will:

  • Develop and execute new subscriber communication initiatives and coordinate campaigns.
  • Act as the main point of contact for producing campaign messaging, subscriber communications, and marketing copy.
  • Edit, write, and produce end-to-end funnel subscriber communications, including marketing copy, EDMs, and ad hoc urgent messaging.
  • Identify audience needs through trend observation and data analysis to inform communication strategies.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Subscriptions & Growth, Product & Tech, and Editorial.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication plans to promote brands, products, or services.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and complex processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating strategies for end-to-end funnel subscriber communication plans.
  • A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong editorial judgment, with the ability to distill complex ideas into accessible copy for diverse audiences.
  • Previous experience in sub-editing and production for online publishing and writing is highly desirable.
  • A demonstrated interest in newsletters and reader conversion to subscriptions.
