Job Description
We are looking for a talented Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Audience Growth Operations team within Nine’s Publishing business. You will play a key role in implementing subscriber vision for engagement, retention, growth, and re-activation lifecycle campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Automation Lead, you'll execute targeted campaigns using our customer data platform and manage our customer relationship management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build automated marketing campaigns using Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
- Define audience segmentation criteria and build data extensions using SQL.
- Support A/B testing and optimise campaign results.
- Create dynamic and personalised email content using AMPscript.
- Monitor the platform and support data cleanup activities.
- Troubleshoot platform and data issues.
Qualifications
What we would like to see:
- Proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS.
- Proficiency in AMPScript and SSJS.
- Basic to moderate experience with HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesise technical information to business stakeholders.
- Experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) is a plus.
- Experience with git or version control system tools would be desirable.
- Familiarity with paywall platforms or a willingness to learn.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Administrator, Developer) are highly desirable.
