Marketing Assistant

Starting your marketing career and want real responsibility from day one?

This is not a “sit and observe” role. It is hands on, fast moving, and gives you exposure across the full marketing mix.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our commercial team in Melbourne, Australia.

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery and maintenance of sales and marketing materials, and bring both internal and customer-facing initiatives to life - all while building practical experience across digital content, events and marketing operations.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a collaborative and growing business.

What you will be doing

You will be working closely with both marketing and sales, supporting a wide range of activities:

  • Create and update marketing and sales materials such as presentations, brochures, banners and digital content
  • Write and edit internal and customer-facing communications, product and website content.
  • Keep our marketing assets, templates, and image libraries organised and up to date
  • Support the sales team with proposals, presentations and client communications
  • Maintain CRM data and enquiry tracking to ensure accuracy and usability
  • Update website content using our CMS
  • Help plan and execute events and internal initiatives
  • Coordinate with external partners and suppliers to deliver marketing materials
  • Ensure brand consistency across everything we produce
  • Support general coordination and admin tasks where needed

What you bring

You do not need years of experience, but you do need curiosity, structure, and drive:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva or Adobe Express
  • Basic video editing skills are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organised across multiple tasks
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Clear communication skills and a professional approach
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines
  • A positive attitude and openness to learning

This position is part of Safer Storage Systems (SSS) and currently follows established ways of working within that business. As integration with Element Logic continues, the role may evolve over time to align with the wider organisation.
