About This Opportunity As Manager, Student Success and Digital Innovation, you'll help shape the future of student success at UQ. Leading high-impact projects that span student progression, digital innovation and data insights, you'll drive initiatives that better understand and support student needs, strengthen engagement and improve outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to influence change on a university-wide scale, work with passionate stakeholders and deliver innovative solutions that make a tangible difference to the lives of students. Key responsibilities will include: Lead the uplift of transition programs and student success initiatives across UQ. Lead early support approaches that identify, engage, and educate students who may need assistance. Work with data, digital systems and stakeholder insights to strengthen how student needs are identified and understood. Contribute to the design of digital orientation and self-reflection tools that help students understand and build their capacity for self-regulated learning. Develop and apply evaluation approaches to understand the impact of transition and proactive support initiatives. Work collaboratively with colleagues delivering student relationship, business improvement and data integrity activities. This is a full-time, Fixed-term position until 31December 2027 at HEW Level 8. About You You combine strong project management capability with the ability to engage, influence and bring people together. Driven by outcomes, you enjoy leading dynamic initiatives that create meaningful and lasting impact. You will also bring: Experience in student experience, student success, transition, engagement, service improvement or a related area. Strong project management capability, with the ability to coordinate moving pieces, keep work progressing and bring others along. A practical understanding of data, systems or digital improvement, including how information can be used responsibly to identify needs and guide decisions. Sound stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work across teams, functions and priorities. A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to test ideas, evaluate impact and refine approaches. People leadership capability or demonstrated experience guiding collaborators and supporting delivery through others. Interested?
