Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to join our Publishing Product team and lead the implementation of the product strategy and roadmap for The Australian Financial Review (AFR) across B2C and B2B channels. โ
You will work closely with the Head of Audience Product and Director of Product to define the strategy and ensure prioritised initiatives align with business objectives. โ
As a leader, you will manage, coach, and mentor two product managers while fostering collaboration across teams to deliver innovative digital products that drive subscription revenue growth and enhance user experiences. โ
Key Responsibilities: โ
Product Strategy and Execution: โ

Define and drive the AFR product vision and strategy across web, mobile app and other distribution channels.

Collaborate with engineering managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver successful products. โ

Analyse data, user research, and market trends to identify opportunities. โ

Own roadmap development, prioritisation, and product lifecycle phases. โ

Monitor performance and iterate for continuous improvement. โ
Qualifications
โโโโโโWhat you'll bring:

Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. โ

Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, including leading other product managers. โ

Proven track record of delivering digital products in an Agile environment. โ

Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions. โ

Experience with design thinking and best practices in digital product development. โ

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. โ

Growth mindset and willingness to learn new approaches. โ
