Join our SCA Brisbane Research team, where your success is at the heart of everything we do. 

The purpose of the Junior Research Analyst is to leverage sales revenue by providing up to date research analysis to the Local and Agency Sales Teams around the SCA network. This role is a 3 month contract position.

What does your day to day look like?

• Produce high-quality reports and key documents (Audience Profiles, Category Insights, Market Profiles) for metro and regional markets, delivering to Sales and Content teams.
• Respond to research briefs promptly, producing impressive documents that give us a competitive edge.
• Develop and analyze micro studies via Sparq to understand consumer/listener insights across various industries and groups.
• Provide sales support and national radio figures/insights for regional and metro markets, ensuring Research Standards are met.
• Deliver high internal client satisfaction through prompt, customer-focused, and professional responses to inquiries.
• Stay informed about competitor research, industry trends, and relevant studies, presenting research clearly and concisely..

What you’ll need:  

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Media and Market Research, with a degree in Media/Communications/Marketing or similar qualifications.
• Proficiency in research software (GfK Radio Probe, Nielsen Clear Decisions, Nielsen Adviews, Roy Morgan Asteroid) and survey software (Sparq).
• Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to tell a story through data using visual representation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and advanced desk research capabilities.
• Understanding of the media and market research landscape both nationally and internationally.
