Junior Data Analyst
OVERVIEW
This is an awesome opportunity for a graduate in Statistical Analysis, Data Science, or a related field to apply their skills in a dynamic and innovative environment within the fastest-growing media channel in Australia. As a key contributor to the launch of the industry's groundbreaking Audience Measurement System (AMS), this role blends your expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, or geospatial analysis with administrative support to drive the success of this transformative initiative.
Reporting to the Implementation and Education Manager and working closely with the General Manager and MOVE data team, this entry-level role supports the delivery of output data, provides helpdesk support to end users of the platform, and together with the whole team, contribute to administrative tasks across projects and day-to-day activities.
The MOVE team works closely with the Outdoor Media Association (OMA), the peak industry body and is located in the same premises.
WHO WE ARE
MOVE is the Out of Home (OOH) industry audience measurement system funded by members of the OMA. It is available through a license for use by the Outdoor Media Association (OMA) Members and Media Agencies.
The OMA is an incorporated, not-for-profit industry body with a current membership of 50 full-time members. Members include the JCDecaux, oOh! Media and QMS Media. Membership of the OMA is governed by its Constitution and Code of Ethics which are available at www.oma.org.au

THE TEAM
MOVE is made up of a small dynamic team of software and audience data specialists who work together to provide audience measurement, alongside the OMA marketing, policy, government relations teams, collectively the OMA and MOVE work together to service the members of the Out of Home industry.
THE CORE FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Provide high-caliber administrative and project support to the MOVE team.
- Manage the helpdesk function for the industry tools, including user access, data management, and general queries.
- Apply knowledge of statistical analysis and geospatial modeling to interpret audience data in relation to Out of Home (OOH) signs in public spaces.
- Engage in the visualisation and analysis of geospatial and audience data to inform industry initiatives.
- Support the validation and authorisation of new sites and locations within the MOVE platform.

- A degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, with knowledge of statistical methods, data visualisation, or geospatial analysis.
- Interest in audience measurement and applying analytical expertise in a media industry context.
