About the role
The Head of Brand & Communications is integral to protecting and growing our omnichannel brands. Reporting into the Director of Marketing you will be responsible for developing strategies grounded in data and insight, implementing integrated marketing plans that will strengthen our brands, and managing Are Media’s overall brand and reputation.
Duties
- Develop and implement the brand and communications strategy to build brand equity, grow audiences and revenue across the Are Media portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear positioning and distinctive plans that will resonate with consumers and customer alike.
- Enhance brand and customer experience for improved brand health and performance.
- Effectively manage external agency relationships to deliver earned media strategies and integrated plans.
- Lead and develop a high performing team of 6 through effective performance management, engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement, supporting each team member across the full employee lifecycle.
Skills and experience
- Commercial acumen: Experience creating value for customers by understanding the market, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and developing strategies and plans to drive revenue and profitability.
- Leadership experience including managing stakeholders, leading change, cross-functional collaboration and developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic Planning: ability to develop a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the business’s strategy, goals and objectives.
- TTL Marketing experience: Proficiency in both traditional and digital channels including social, SEO, SEM, email and content marketing.
- Experience in utilising a CDP to segment customers allowing for the creation of highly targeted and personalised marketing plans.
- Proven experience developing go-to-market plans that have delivered on long and short-term objectives.
- P&L/Budget Management: Experience in managing revenue and marketing budgets efficiently and allocating resources to maximise ROI.
