Job Description

This 12 month max term contract plays a pivotal role in managing and delivering the on and off-camera hair, make-up, and wardrobe styling for Perth Nine Network talent. The Senior Hair, Make-Up & Wardrobe Stylist will work closely with the GTV Hair, the Perth News Director, and Executives to ensure a consistent and polished appearance for our talent across all programs and states. Nine is open to full time or part time candidates, who will demonstrate leadership in overseeing a team while maintaining the high standards of Nine Network’s brand and visual identity. 

Day to day you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the Perth Hair and Make-Up Team, ensuring optimal scheduling, workflow, and overall performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with on-air talent to understand their preferences and needs while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Coordinate & Organise wardrobe fittings, manage clothing selection (from Sydney & Melbourne), and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Seamlessly manage the roster for casual pool.
  • Problem solve & be prepared to step in during last-minute changes, taking initiative to ensure all styling needs.

Qualifications

What we would like to see:

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Expert knowledge in on-camera hair, make-up, and wardrobe styling.
  • Strong eye for detail and creativity to meet production standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with talent, colleagues, and executives.
