Group Digital Lead

What's the role?

News Corp Australia is seeking a Group Digital Lead to join our high-performing Digital Centre of Excellence team. The Group Digital Lead is a specialist within the team and responsible for driving data-led, product-driven digital growth across assigned industry verticals. Partnering with Client Partners and the broader commercial ecosystem, you will be developing audience-first, insight-led solutions that leverage our unparalleled digital assets to generate measurable outcomes. If you are a digital subject matter expert with a growth mindset and the ability to turn complex data into compelling commercial narratives, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive digital revenue growth through product-led, insight-driven strategies tailored by industry maturity.
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities by scaling existing revenue in established industries and creating demand in emerging segments.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into industry-relevant commercial narratives and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed digital thinking and data-led strategies across the entire client lifecycle.
  • Provide structured industry feedback to internal teams to inform the product roadmap and GTM strategy.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, and product adoption.

Who are you?

  • 4–6 years of experience in digital media, sales, trading, or strategy roles
  • A strategic thinker with proven expertise in data-driven marketing, audience strategy, and measurement.
  • Strong understanding of Digital and video ecosystems, Data-led targeting and measurement and Commercial media models
  • Experience working across Retail, Travel, Finance, Entertainment, Health & Beauty Industries
  • Growth-oriented with high commercial acumen and a commitment to staying ahead of emerging trends.
  • Experience working with agencies and clients in a commercial environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation and communication skills
