Event Marketing Manager
What's the role?
We seek an experienced, exceptionally organised Event Marketing Manager to join our team. Working across a number of large-scale events, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of consumer-centric campaign marketing strategies to drive event awareness and conversion, and work with the relevant editorial and marketing teams to deliver market leading events and experiences. You will ensure that campaigns are delivered to the masthead and customer objectives and seamlessly integrate sponsor requirements into campaigns. This role is situated within News Corp Australia's dynamic Events and Experiences team. About the role:
- Responsibility of end-to-end event marketing & campaign management as well as customer communications for all key experiential programs for relevant brand portfolios
- Drawing on consumer insights, knowledge and trends to deliver best in class experiences and customer communications
- Management of creative campaigns for events including briefing, liaison, creative approvals and commercial client integration with internal creative agency
- Work closely with digital product integration and consumer UX to create seamless digital experiences and event outcomes
- Marketing amplification and acquisition, incl social advertising strategies to reach and capture new audiences
- Commercial integration of sponsors into brand-led marketing campaigns and events
- Briefing PR team on campaigns to develop event awareness strategies
- Budget management of Events + Experiences P&Ls
- Collaboration with product integration & sales to build out commercial/partner event offerings
- Collaborate with senior event managers to deliver world-class event campaigns
- Lead and manage stakeholders (internal and external), building effective relationships with all relevant project points across product, editorial, events, legal, marketing and client leads to achieve successful outcomes
- Contribute to a culture that is innovative, customer focused and reflects the News Corp and team values
- Manage and oversee post-campaign reporting
