Role Overview

Drive customer retention and lifecycle revenue through strategic email and SMS marketing for our international acupressure and wellness brand. This role owns campaign execution, automation, creative development, and performance optimisation.
You’ll manage promotional calendars and lifecycle programs to increase engagement, maximise customer lifetime value, and reduce churn across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign & Automation (50%)
    Execute email and SMS campaigns across the customer lifecycle (welcome, nurture, promotional, re-engagement)
    Build and optimise automations (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back)
    Manage campaign calendar and align with broader marketing activity
    Segment audiences for personalised, targeted messaging
    Monitor and optimise performance (timing, content, triggers, segmentation)
    Ensure campaigns deploy accurately with correct tracking and integrations
    Implement personalisation and dynamic content
    Manage subscriber growth initiatives and list-building tactics
    Document automation logic and maintain clear processes
  • Creative & Template Management (25%)
    Design and optimise email templates in collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer
    Write compelling, conversion-focused subject lines, preview text, and email copy
    Adapt messaging for different customer segments and lifecycle stages
    Brief and coordinate creative assets (imagery, layouts, graphics)
    Conduct A/B testing across messaging, layouts, and CTAs
    Ensure mobile responsiveness and consistent rendering across devices
    Maintain brand voice and visual consistency
    Organise and manage template and asset libraries
  • Platform & Data Management (20%)
    Manage email and SMS platforms, including templates, segments, and integrations
    Maintain clean platform structure and naming conventions
    Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and data flow
    Manage list hygiene, suppression lists, and deliverability best practices
    Monitor sender reputation and inbox placement
    Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
    Coordinate with Ecommerce & UX on integrations and data sync
  • Performance & Collaboration (5%)
    Track key metrics (open rate, click rate, conversion, revenue, deliverability)
    Report on performance and key insights
    Identify and flag risks or issues
    Share customer insights with wider marketing team
    Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5+ yr experience in email mktg, CRM, or lifecycle mktg (DTC preferred)
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Klaviyo, Omnisend, Attentive, or similar
  • Experience building and optimising email/SMS automations
  • Strong copywriting skills for conversion-focused content
  • Experience designing/editing email templates within platform builders
  • Understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and customer journeys
  • Knowledge of deliverability, compliance, and list hygiene best practices
  • Experience managing campaign calendars and coordinating launches
  • Basic HTML knowledge (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ecommerce integrations and international markets
