Job Description
About the Role
As Director of Product, Streaming, you’ll be at the centre of Nine’s flagship streaming services—9Now and 9Radio—leading a dynamic team to deliver world-class digital experiences.
Your mission? To drive audience growth, accelerate the transition from broadcast to streaming, and position Nine as a market leader in the evolving media landscape.
The Director of Product, Streaming will lead a high-performing Product & Design team, setting the strategic direction for all streaming products and ensuring alignment with Nine's overarching business objectives.
A core responsibility of this position is to act as a linchpin between programming, business, technology, and marketing stakeholders. By fostering strong cross-functional relationships, the Director will guarantee that the streaming product vision mirrors the broader business strategy. Additionally, a key facet of this role involves demonstrating how effective product strategies can drive revenue growth and optimize resource allocation to ensure profitability.
The ideal candidate will be a leader who has a proven track record of driving successful transformations within a team. This could be a digital transformation, a people and organisational transformation, a strategic change, or another type of change.
We already have a team with strong capabilities to execute the work. What we need is a leader who can quickly assess the situation, prioritise effectively, and lead the team towards new ways of working, new products, and a winning position in the market.
Key Accountabilities
Product Leadership & Delivery

Define and execute a bold Product Strategy for Streaming, driving Nine’s digital growth.

Lead a multi-disciplinary team to create audience-first experiences that drive engagement and revenue.

Stay ahead of global streaming trends and product innovations, applying best practices.

Partner closely with the Technology Director, Streaming to ensure seamless product development and execution.

Articulate a compelling product vision to stakeholders across all levels, from Board to CEO.

Qualifications
