We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Digital Assets & Currencies (DAC) - Markets & Securities Services (MSS).

Role purpose

This Director, Digital Assets & Currencies will work with the Head of Digital Assets & Currencies to help shape and execute HSBC’s Digital Assets & Currencies (DAC) agenda—a core pillar underpinning the future growth of Markets & Securities Services (MSS) and a key enabler of future growth across Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB).

The role will help translate strategic ambition into enterprise execution: driving alignment across businesses, turning priorities into a clear and actionable roadmap, and accelerating the development of client propositions in digital assets and currencies, while ensuring alignment with the target operating model and control expectations.

The role will also play a key role in bringing together the bank’s digital assets and digital currencies agenda across MSS, Global Payments Solutions and the wider CIB franchise, helping to shape a coherent strategic narrative, support joined-up client engagement and drive alignment of priorities across the business.

Join up capabilities across digital assets and digital currencies to help maximise commercial impact and support cross-sell opportunities across MSS, GPS and wider CIB
Proactively identify and resolve cross-business dependencies, overlaps, and decision points to maintain momentum and clarity of ownership.
  • Client proposition development & roadmap transparency

Control expectations and risk appetite alignment
  • Technology strategy & external partnerships
Help shape the technology platform strategy, including decisions on building, buying and partnering to support the DAC agenda.
