Digital Producer
Role Description:
Media Merchants is a Full Service National Advertising Agency looking for an exceptionally motivated Digital Producer to join our Sydney office, working as an integral member of the Digital Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital and working alongside an array of Digital industry talent, this position offers fast paced agency experience across a wide range of nationally & internationally recognised brands and retailers, project & industry guidance, opportunity for career growth, and a culturally supportive and fun work environment.
As one of our Digital Producers, your primary responsibilities will be the scoping of multiple digital projects, developing & monitoring budgets and timelines, coordinating schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle (from initial brief / proposal to post-launch project review), overseeing ongoing site maintenance & performance reporting, managing resource allocation to ensure accurate project delivery, liaising with hosting and domain providers, and ensuring final deliverables are quality controlled. Ranging from small to large scopes, projects will be integrated digital client campaigns, or entirely digitally focused project work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong breadth of digital knowledge with at least 3 to 5 years direct experience in a similar digital project management & production role, ideally with retail clients - with a particularly strong technical understanding of web technologies and applications. Managing web projects across Magento & WordPress / Woocommerce, amongst other platforms, will be required.
Working across multiple campaigns simultaneously, this role would suit someone who is comfortable with multitasking while working in an accelerated dynamic environment, with an eye for UX development and digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities for the Digital Producer will vary, but may look like:
- Working with internal teams and external suppliers managing scopes of work and expectations
- Working with Account Management teams to propose, develop and implement project solutions
- Managing stakeholder expectations and communication flows as relates to production and the internal project team
- Defining and managing team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities
- Providing wireframes for our Studio team
- Managing project risks and issues and effectively mitigating and escalating where appropriate
- Developing and managing all production schedules, projections, specifications, assets and budgets for assigned jobs
- Reconciliation and analysis of projected vs. actual time / budgets and control of any variances
- Participating in the QA process to ensure projects are delivered to agreed upon specifications
- Working in tandem with Account Management to help identify new opportunities with clients
- Taking an active role in expanding and improving the scope and quality of digital work produced at Media Merchants, through consultation, education and instruction to and from staff and stakeholders
- Effectively working with other company departments & personnel within the business to achieve project goals
- Documentation of processes for department knowledge base
- Keeping up to date with the latest & relevant digital trends and technology
Required Skills / Experience
- Practical experience working with eCommerce projects (Magento 2)
- Practical experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello
- Practical CMS experience (Magento / WordPress)
- Practical experience creating wireframes (preferably in Figma)
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask, juggling multiple deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Flexible and ability to adapt quickly to different situations
- Strong ethics and credibility with a high degree of integrity
Desirable Skills / Experience (non-essential, but considered favourably):
- Magento 2 project experience highly favourable
- Pharmaceutical client experience highly favourable
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager
- Website Testing & Bug Tagging tools
- Experience in execution of Email campaigns (using platforms & services such as HubSpot, MailChimp, Vision 6, Litmus, Email on Acid)
- Basic understanding of HTML / CSS & other coding languages
- Adobe Creative Suite - notably Photoshop and Illustrator
- SEO best practices and techniques
