ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a big picture thinker with a high marketing IQ in addition to your ad platform skills? NP Digital Australia is seeking an energetic, data-driven, and innovative Digital Performance Manager - Paid Media (Search & Social) to join our Paid Media team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of managing paid search budgets of over $10k per month and understands what it takes to lead and mentor a small team of direct reports. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to tie paid media results to a client’s business objective.

The Digital Performance Manager - Paid Media will be responsible for leading small and large sized media strategy, monitoring performance, and reporting to clients. This person will be expected to directly manage high-value client initiatives and provide strategic guidance for a team of Paid Media professionals.

This role will also work closely with the Head of Paid Media AU to build out our paid media offering within the APAC market and develop standard processes and procedures as we grow. This is a roll- up-your-sleeves kind-of position that has serious scope to grow as our business expands.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Head of Paid Media AU, you will be responsible for driving client success within their own book of business and for helping to train and mentor our junior team members across best practices for Search and Social Paid Media.

Duties of the Digital Performance Manager - Paid Media include:

  • Develop and support end-to-end multi-channel strategy to align with brand and original content goals and initiatives (Lead-Gen & Ecommerce)
  • Own channel measurement; tracking, monitoring, brand lift studies and optimizing performance against critical metrics
  • Coordinate with Creative, PPC, analytics, SEO, social and web development teams
  • Develop creative testing roadmap and participate in creative briefing and performance readouts
  • Clearly communicate campaign changes and performance to the Account Management team and other strategic partners
  • Set up, optimize and execute paid media campaigns using social platforms and Google Ads
  • Write and review copy for paid ad campaigns informed by SEO/SEM best practices
  • Monitor daily advertising spend per channel to align with client’s monthly budgets
  • Report on campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations
  • Build projections and forecasting calculations as it pertains to incremental client growth
  • Interface with C-level client contacts on a regular basis independently
  • Manage the day-to-day team activities; project management and task prioritization, and campaign best practices and tools adoption.
  • Manage a team of junior specialists and effectively coach and mentor team members to improve overall team performance

  • Marketing IQ that extends beyond performance media channels
  • 3-5 Years of hands-on experience setting up, optimizing and reporting on Paid Search & Social campaigns
  • Proven experience with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google Ads
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio
  • Extensive experience setting up social Ads include pixel tracking and configuration
  • Knowledge of eComm/Retail/Shopping marketing tactics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills, creative, customer focused & action oriented

  • Amazon Ads, Retail media and Programmatic experience would be a bonus
