As a Corporate Communications Lead at PwC, you'll bring your expertise in internal communications, issues management, and stakeholder engagement to lead strategic campaigns that inform and inspire more than 6,500 people and partners across Australia, based in Sydney / Gadigal. You'll work at the intersection of people, culture, and corporate strategy — partnering with senior leaders and guiding a high-performing team to drive meaningful connections across the firm.

Why PwC?

At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.

Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of communications activity, reactive corporate communications and issues management (where required), with a focus on our People & Culture portfolio and Enabling Functions.
  • Work with Corporate Affairs leaders to develop strategies and implement campaigns that are delivered on time, to budget and achieve impactful and measurable results.
  • Use your excellent communication and stakeholder skills and experience influencing senior leaders to drive alignment across diverse teams and act as a trusted advisor on issues to internal stakeholders including Management Leadership Team and the Governance Board.
  • Lead the development and implementation of measures that assess the impact of communications output and gather feedback for future improvement, and review corporate communication material produced by your team.
  • Leverage your existing leadership experience having led or coached high-performing teams in corporate communications.

What we’re looking for:

Core skills

  • Proven experience in corporate communications or internal communications within a dynamic, high-profile organisation.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to lead complex work and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable skills

  • Agility and willingness to lean into new challenges and shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a genuine appreciation for constructive challenge and knowledge-sharing.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to support colleagues across functions — ready to 'jump in' where needed.
  • Natural curiosity and an openness to continuous learning and improvement.

Don't meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply. We value all forms of experience that may be transferrable and relevant.

What you’ll gain:

  • The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.
  • Work within an inclusive environment committed to Inclusion and Diversity and First Nations Prosperity, ensuring diverse perspectives are at the forefront of our work.
  • Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.
  • Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.
  • Generous leave entitlements to support your work-life balance - including floating public holidays, birthday leave and ability to purchase additional leave on top of your four weeks.
  • A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
