Content Partnerships Manager

We’re looking for a passionate Audio enthusiast with a strong background in either sports marketing or client solutions, or ideally both. The Content Partnerships Manager will strategically develop, negotiate, and deliver market-leading client solutions within Nine’s Radio & Podcast assets. This role involves driving the Total Audio budget, creating and converting opportunities across various content areas, including major sports events like NRL, AFL, and the Olympics.

You’ll collaborate closely with programming and internal teams to support the sales team in achieving commercial outcomes. Job Description

Day to day will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Creating go-to-market collateral and communicating opportunities to sales teams promptly.
  • Partnering with Sales on brief responses, providing strategic comms advice and insight-driven solutions.
  • Delivering rationale for why Nine Audio and its assets align with client objectives.
  • Working with content teams nationwide to create creative client campaigns.
  • Collaborating across Powered & Nine teams on cross-platform brief responses.
  • Ensuring strong relationships and customer service with the Nine Sales team.
  • Partnering with Powered Studios on holistic campaigns across content and commercial assets.
  • Maintaining professional, positive communication.
  • Supporting and engaging in a sales team environment.
  • Champion sport across Total Audio, provide content integration specialist support and knowledge to sales team & sports sales team
  • Delivering clear, timely communication, even under tight deadlines.
  • Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
  • Sharing information constructively.

Qualifications

What we would like to see on your resume:

  • Radio experience preferred, but expertise in integrating brands across podcasts, TV, digital, sport, or outdoor is also relevant.
  • Ability to analyse client needs and craft creative solutions across all audio assets.
  • Strong relationship-building with stakeholders, skilled in influencing, negotiating, and mediating for optimal outcomes.
  • Solutions-focused team player, adaptable to project needs.
  • Proven organisational skills: planning, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and/or Google Slides.
  • Ability to craft creative, strategic responses to client briefs, ensuring optimal sales solutions.
  • Confident presenter with a sales mindset.
  • Delivering on strict deadlines while exceeding client expectations within budget.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure, creative environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across various business areas and seniority levels,
  • Maintains a positive outlook under pressure.
