As Japan's leading OTA, Rakuten Travel is continuously striving to enhance its services and content to provide the best travel experiences for travelers, not only in Japan but also across global markets. We renewed our multilingual accommodation booking platform in 2022, and the Content Management Office has played an important role in maintaining high-quality hotel content ever since. Specifically, Supply Content Group has taken the lead in optimizing hotel content migration from domestic to inbound, thereby showcasing our strong presence among Japan's hotel inventory. We will continue to expand our business into new markets and contribute to the growth of the travel business from a global perspective.

Position Details
Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of content across Rakuten Travel's domestic and global platforms. From data-driven content optimization and multilingual management to coordination with other services, you will work on a wide range of tasks to maximize the appeal of travel products and contribute to the growth of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage content input rules for hotels.
- Conduct data analysis on hotel content completeness and hotel performances.
- Ensure the consistency and accuracy of hotel content, considering both domestic and inbound platforms.
- Manage the translation of hotel contents for inbound travelers.
- Oversee hotel content mapping with global distribution partners.
- Support the multilingual expansion of services including rental cars, in addition to accommodations.
Representative Projects
- Collaborate with domestic sales teams to improve hotel content for enhanced website usability.
- Research and propose optimal hotel content registration methods tailored to global distribution partners.
- Work closely with the development team to suggest and implement functional improvements for content display.

Content Management Office: 18 members - Age Range: 20s to 40s - Ratio: New grad 40%, Mid career 60%
Supply Content Group: 2 members - Age Range: 20s to 30s - Ratio: New grad 100%
Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional work experience.
- Practical experience in content management, planning, and operations across any industry.
- Proven experience leading or collaboratively driving cross-functional projects.
- Strong eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies, such as data analysis tools and AI, into daily work.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written).
- Business-level proficiency in English (spoken and written), with a TOEIC score of 800 or higher.
- Practical experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Work experience in the travel industry (OTAs, hotels, travel agencies, etc.).
- Practical experience in data analysis and visualization using tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Foundational knowledge of website UI/UX improvement and product development.

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability) or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country. Proof of qualifications will be required by the time of the job offer.
