About The Team

For a company as big as ours, the regulatory environment is naturally complex. Because we operate across a range of Compliance remits, our Risk & Compliance team are trusted advisors to the business. With such a deep understanding of our goals and values, we provide practical and commercial advice when it’s needed most.

About The Role- 12 Months fixed term

As the Compliance Manager-Coles 360 your primary responsibilities will be to work with the Coles’ 360 Business Unit to ensure this growing business is supported in areas related to Compliance. This will include identification of key compliance obligations and the design and implementation of effective compliance controls.

You’ll also:

  • Provides timely, accurate and trusted regulatory and compliance advice to the business
  • Review supplier engagement practices (including monitoring of complaints and resolutions) which align to existing BU practices.
  • Identification of competition and consumer law, grocery code, privacy, marketing, contractual and other key compliance obligations to support appropriate management in conjunction with other business SME’s.
  • Define compliance obligations for relevant regulatory areas
  • Identify and develop initiatives for continuous improvement
  • Embedding compliance requirements into business planning and practices.
  • Fosters a strong compliance culture across the business by prioritising regulatory compliance and a focus on customer outcomes.

 

About You And Your Skills

  • Detailed knowledge of Competition and Consumer Law requirements relevant to supermarket retailing, including understanding of the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct.
  • Strong experience in a relevant role such as compliance or similar discipline
  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve issues across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management frameworks will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work across and understand the functionality of multiple IT Systems
  • Experience in documenting policies, procedures tools to support compliance.
  • Experience in building compliance programs including control design, monitoring, issue investigation and resolution.
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in preparing reports for senior managers.
