- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $109,102 pa to $120,542 pa + super

Our Corporate Affairs team is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Officer to support strategic communications and engagement across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful initiatives that connect people with nature, inspire action and help protect the environment for future generations.
From promoting koala conservation efforts to supporting major announcements, campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities, you’ll play a key role in delivering clear, compelling and impactful communications across government, stakeholders and the wider community.
About You
You’re someone who gets genuinely excited about meaningful work and understands the power of great storytelling to inspire action. Whether it’s protecting koala habitat, supporting conservation initiatives or connecting communities with the work being delivered across NSW, you know how to turn important information into engaging and memorable communications.
You’re a creative and confident communicator who loves bringing stories to life. You have a natural ability to write compelling content, build strong relationships and create messaging that resonates with a wide range of audiences. You’re equally comfortable drafting a media response, creating digital content, supporting a community engagement activity or helping coordinate a major announcement.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy juggling a variety of projects and can confidently manage competing priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism. Curious, collaborative and solutions-focused, you bring energy to your work and genuinely care about delivering outcomes that make a positive impact.
Most importantly, you’re passionate about protecting and celebrating the unique environment of NSW and if the idea of helping communicate initiatives that support one of Australia’s most loved icons, the koala , excites you, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in contributing to/developing and implementing communication strategies and content
