The Role

As a Client Director, take on the role of inspiring your client team, being a trusted adviser to our clients and being the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

The Client Director will lead a portfolio of brands working in close collaboration with the Group Director.

Leading the UM planning process on all key briefs, you will ensure campaigns are executed seamlessly and innovatively, along with client KPIs being met. Equally you will be charged with team functionality and management, leading best practice in more effective and efficient ways of working.

You are the day-to-day client lead, and you keep your Group Director ahead of the game with your leadership, category expertise, status updates and proactive guidance. You are an authority on the client business to UM. You are an authority on UM and Mediabrands business to the client. You are providing advice continually and being seen as a trusted advisor to them and their goals.

What will you be doing?

  • Taking ownership over client relationships and delivering positive client satisfaction scores
  • Leading client management plans, working with briefs and represent Identity during the planning and internal review processes
  • Bringing UM and other internal business units together to manage timelines
  • Establish and lead campaign analysis and optimisation framework
  • Conduct quality control of the planning process - tracking campaign results
  • Expertise in the client contract inclusions, driving innovation and service development based on market insights
  • Involvement in budget and business drivers to contribute to achieving budget goals.

What do you bring?

  • Ability to bring the team together to plan, develop and organise client campaigns
  • Comfortable taking on an advisory role for your clients - building diverse marketing strategies to target a wide range of markets
  • Confident using data to inform strategies on consumer patterns and preferences
  • Keen interest in interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends for your client’s audience groups
  • Ability to support business growth and development by meeting clients marketing objectives
  • A genuine interest in building a solid understanding of potential demand and the market for new goods and services.
