We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. The Greater China (GC) team, part of Apple's global Marketing Communications team, is responsible for all consumer-facing communications, including advertising, apple.com, direct marketing, Apple retail, channel, digital commerce, packaging, video, corporate identity, and partner communications. Our Business Affairs team is in search of a person to support development of Retail marketing materials on eCommerce platforms from content clearance perspective. This would include the planning, reviewing, curation and clearance of 3rd party rights in Apple and partner marketing materials in various stages of creative development of deliverables in digital Retail spaces with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. This role will internally partner closely with PR, Creatives, Brand, Legal, Retail and other business stakeholders to formulate and execute content plans and work with external content partners for clearance efforts.

DESCRIPTION

The person will have a high degree of ownership, integrity, and accountability and will be collaborating with Creative, Brand, PR, Retail, Channel Digital and Legal teams to formulate content plans and clearances strategies for eCommerce deliverables. Your deep expertise in fostering and maintaining relationships across various partners will be essential for your success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of relevant experience in the advertising, entertainment, or other media content-focused industry. Hands-on experience in consumer-facing content (advertising, social media, UGC, consumer digital experiences, entertainment and editorial) and associated risks is a requirement. Strong working knowledge of IP rights including copyright, trademark, marketing use of likeness and licensing in such areas and/or advertising law. Fluent in both oral and written English, Simplified Chinese and able to effectively communicate with teams at Marcom U.S. teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor or equivalent degree Expertise in identifying potential legal and cultural issues in China. Knowledge on apps, podcast and music licensing is a bonus Self-motivated with high emotional intelligence, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively, independently and reliably on multiple projects. Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated skills in core areas: reviewing/licensing agreements, strong negotiation skills, partner management, creative problem-solving.
